Graduate Geologist / Mining Engineer

Primary Location/Chengdu, P.R.C

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Graduate Mine Engineer will perform his/her duties as a member of the Engineering department and collaborate with other departments of the division. The incumbent will perform good engineering practices and be responsible for providing technical services in order to attain project goals. He/she will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting company culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Assist with Chief Engineer, Nengjun Yu, who is a Seasoned mining engineer and executive with the following titles, but not limited:
- Competent Person (JORC);
- Member of the AusIMM;
- More than 30 years experience in mining (underground and open pit), and coal processing;
- Specialized Committee member of China National Security Supervision Bureau;
- Expert of the comprehensive group of Chongqing production safety committee;
- Guest professor of mining engineering in Chongqing University;
- External expert of resource exploration system of Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Land;
- Expert on Coal Mine Safety Technology of Chongqing Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau;
Basic qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology;
- Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office suites, AutoCAD, etc.;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
- Advanced English language skills, written and spoken;
- Strong ability to communicate in English (Oral and written);
